CRIMEAN CANNONS - WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

The Mall
Armagh City
Armagh
Ulster
Northern Ireland

Looking down the Mall you will see the 'White Walk' with two memorials beside it. To the north of the walk is a statue of a bugler in memory of the men of the Royal Irish Fusiliers who fought in the Boer War. Opposite is a cannon brought back from the Crimean campaign.

The National Inventory of War Memorials at the Imperial War Museum records this cannon ref. 42461 at The Mall. The Robins database records the number as 25419 a 36 pdr.c.1836.
