The Crimean Cannon on display in the gardens near the Wallace Memorial tower is a trophy of the Crimean War (1853-56), the Russian cannon was captured at the Battle of Sebastopol. Admiral Meynell RN (c.1785-1863) presented it to the people of Lisburn in 1858.
