The Grange Grange Court Pinsley Road Leominster Herefordshire HR6 8NL
Leominster acquired a Crimean gun as confirmed in an article in the Ludlow Standard (Leominster), 9 April 1943, p. 3, 'Grange cannon removed for munitions: a relic of the Crimean War'. The cannon was located on a plinth on the public green known as The Grange, near the entrance to Grange Court. It was then removed in WWII as detailed above. The cannon was once noted as something for children to climb on and where to let fireworks off.
